About
A definitions desk, not a lab
aiforthedummies.com is a static, plain-language information hub about everyday artificial intelligence. It explains what the term names, how a model differs from a product, and which risks you can already see without a movie plot. It is operated by AXIA Enterprises.
The domain previously pointed at a Gamma presentation. This site is a fresh first ship. It does not scrape, clone, or restyle that deck. The articles were written for these pages.
Methodology
- Prefer distinctions a reader can use: model versus product, training versus inference, claim versus measurement.
- Write in ordinary words. Keep jargon when it names a real split; drop it when it only sounds expensive.
- Never invent benchmark scores, win rates, job-loss percentages, energy totals, or citations.
- Label uncertainty. Vendor marketing stays attributed to the vendor. A demo is not a study.
- Light mode only. The pages are static HTML on GitHub Pages.
What this site is not
It is not a research laboratory, a model vendor, a course seller, or investment advice. It does not rank chat apps. It does not publish a leaderboard. Adjacent AXIA desks that touch related topics: LLM Best Practices (how to write for machines), Top Tech News (a news spoke), and Agentic Engineering Jobs (hiring). Those are separate publications.
Machine-readable companions for agents live at /llm-info, /llms.txt, /ai.txt, and /agents.txt.
